About Me

I work at the intersection of enterprise technology and real-world operations—where systems don’t just run software, they move products, support logistics, and keep businesses functioning in real time.

I’ve spent over 15 years in IT Infrastructure, Operations, and Service Delivery, working across global environments that depend on stability, scale, and precision. My background spans hybrid cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and operational technology—supporting everything from traditional IT services to high-throughput logistics, distribution, and production environments.

In practice, that means I focus on keeping complex systems running when they matter most.

I’ve led and supported critical operations across infrastructure, security, and application layers—managing incidents, improving observability, driving root cause analysis, and continuously refining system reliability. My work often sits between engineering, operations, and business teams, translating complexity into solutions that are both scalable and practical.

Over the years, I’ve taken on roles including Systems Security Administrator, Technical Account Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Senior IT Analyst, and Enterprise Command Centre Manager. I’ve supported global platforms, enterprise cloud environments, and ITIL-driven service models designed to improve performance and accountability.

What sets my experience apart is the operational side.

Alongside enterprise IT, I’ve worked directly in logistics, manufacturing, distribution, and production environments—using warehouse management systems, RF scanning, EDI integrations, and inventory platforms in real-world workflows. I’ve seen how technology connects to physical operations, from data centers and cloud systems all the way to warehouse floors and production lines.

That perspective shapes how I think: systems aren’t just technical—they’re operational, human, and interconnected.

Beyond Work

Outside of IT, I’m driven by curiosity.

I spend time exploring embedded systems, IoT, and hardware prototyping—working with micro-controllers, sensors, and automation projects that connect software to the physical world.

I’m also into coffee, craft beer, music, and gaming—the usual mix of focus, creativity, and downtime. And yes, I’m a lifelong Leafs fan, which has been its own long-term lesson in patience.

Most importantly, I’m a husband and a father. That’s what keeps everything else in perspective.

Why This Blog Exists

This space is my digital notebook.

I write about technology, cloud, infrastructure, and operations—but also about problem-solving, learning, and how all of this fits into everyday life. Some posts are technical, some reflective, and some are just ideas I don’t want to lose.

I also care about sharing knowledge and helping others grow in their own tech journeys.

If you’re in tech—or just curious about how systems actually come together behind the scenes—you’ll probably find something here that resonates.

Here are some of my offices through time:

I don’t just work with systems—I genuinely enjoy understanding how they work and making them reliable when it matters most.
